It was the day that we've been waiting for even before we set foot on the plane to the UK. Malaysian never have the privilege to experience snowing in our country's forever summer season. Watching children enjoying the snow falling from the sky, make snowman and play snow war with friends in the Internet envied us to the max.

It was drizzling lightly when we reached the entrance at the base of Mount Titlis. We were very curious about what will happen up there on the mountain if it's raining down here. The simple answer is - snowing!

Halfway up the mountain and we can already see it's snowing! What an amazing scenery, where you can see the ground which is not covered with snow and the upper side of the mountain which is covered with snow in one view!
Getting up to the peak of Mount Titlis requires us to take 3 stages of cable car. The first one is the similar type where you can find in Genting Highlands, the second stage is a big cabin cable car which can fit about 60 persons at a time while the third stage is a 360 degrees rotating cable car which enable us to have a clear view of the Mount Titlis and its surrounding (but it was snowing that day, so there was literally no view for us).

Once out of the platform at the top of the mountain, spine-shivering cold wind blew at our direction and the -10 degree celcius temperature alone left us trembling after being outside for few minutes. We have to head out and back into the warmed platform several times to get used to the super cold temperature out there!
The snow outside was few inches thick, at some places it was knee-high! The snow will stick all over your shoes and long pants, remain intact while we were still outside exploring, but starts to melt once we went back into the platform again to warm ourselves up. Therefore, it is advisable to shake off all the snow before going back into the platform, or else your shoes and pants will be wet! Also, bring along ear muffs to protect your ears from the freezing temperature! The first body part that hurts due to the cold weather will be your ears! Sunglasses is optional, it will be hard to open your eyes for a nice photo when you are so close to the sun and everything around you is white in colour!

At the end side was the Cliff Walk bridge, a long suspension bridge which hangs 3000m above sea level! It was snowing that day, thus we couldn't really see exactly how high up the bridge was from the ground, a check in the Internet shocked me! I wouldn't dare to cross it on a clear day as the bridge is a see-through that you can see the ground below!

At least we have a group photo before we leave, with our clothes on :) It was so cold that I didn't spend much time outside throwing snow balls at friends LOL!

One of the most beautiful photos in our Europe trip. The perfect photo - spectacular view, beautiful expression, together with our tour guide, tour bus driver and everyone in the same tour group!
Getting down from Mount Titlis and the nearest city to it is Lucerne. After enjoying the sights of snow for half a day, we ended up pretty exhausted. However, the tour must go on according to the itinerary, right? Am not surprised that many of us were still quite energetic in Lucerne, largely because of its calm environment and a shopping haven!
Being Switzerland, clock/watch is famous here. Even the lion want one!
Familiar brand names such as Rolex, Tissot and Swatch are all available here. Bucherer, not butcher, mind you.
We even get a complimentary 'Rolex' cutlery set from the store. Our guess was the fee needed to produce those cutleries were included in our tour fee! Anyway, the store has many pretty clocks ranging from the ancient design right up to modern era.
Not to forget about Swiss knives. Your name can be cut onto your Swiss knife for free! Lastly, Swiss chocolate which is as famous as Belgium chocolate! Bought few bars back home to savour them all by myself and also as souvenirs!
