Europe Trip - Paris, France - Part 1

Roar! T-Rex invaded Paris and want to bring the Eiffel Tower down! Of course we were not in Paris to see a glass T-Rex, but to see the magnificent (and romantic, some say) Eiffel Tower with our own eyes! On our first day in Paris, we were scheduled for a boat ride around the city of Paris. It was a quick way to explore and discover all the famous buildings around the Seine River.

We were searching for the sight of the Eiffel Tower on the freeway even before we reach the dock. When we got nearer to the dock, the pinnacle of the tower appeared. The steel structure is huge, standing firm on the ground, proving itself to the world that it's not a normal radio transmission tower. It is the front page of France and symbolises love.

The tower (power) is in your hand!

The tour boat started from the middle of Seine River, then proceeded to one end and then another end of the river which have tourist attractions. Firstly we saw Pont Alexandre III with golden sculpture on all four pillars. I bet it will look amazing at night!

Some say attach a padlock on the Pont des Arts will bring you eternal love with your lover. It might be true, but a relationship is also depends on hard work and fate. When one is too dependent on the other, the relationship will collapse. Just like the bridge itself, research said it will collapse someday if the amount of padlocks attached onto the bridge continues to increase.
A friendly couple waving at us!

Finally we were closing in to what we've been waiting for. Eiffel Tower charmed us with its presence, who can say no to take a photo with such charming structure?

"Call me a diva if you have to, I deserve all the shots I can get!"

The famous Notre Dame. Yup, this is the place which inspired the story Hunchback and the Notre Dame! All the places mentioned above (and few others) will be covered more in Paris part 2!

After the boat tour, our tour bus passed by the tunnel where the late Princess Diana passed away. A sculpture was allocated at the site as a memorial for her.

1 Euro can get 4 Eiffel Tower miniatures, comes in gold, silver and bronze colour! Perfect as souvenirs for friends and family!

NEXT - Disneyland!
