Sheffield - What We Do To Past Time !

It's CHIPS again! Yes, one of our favourite activities in Sheffield is throw some chips into the oven and after 20 minutes, a delicacy is done. Coupled with mayonnaise or thousand island or Malaysian's favourite chilli sauce and it makes a good snack. Miss the time where all four of us housemates sat down together during midnight, on the kitchen's floor with a horror movie playing from a laptop. We would 'donate' some chips or bake-able food as titbits during movie time. 

Sports, football to be exact. My friends like to play basketball at the nearby basketball court almost every evening. It's very enjoyable to play sports in the UK because of the cold weather, you won't feel tired or out of breath easily from sports or even long walk. Being in the UK, the land of many football clubs are created in, everyone was a football enthusiast. The seamless and fast internet connection enabled us to enjoy movies and live stream without the need of buffering. Spot the only girl in the pic below!

The thing I miss the most is playing Dota 2 with friends a block away! Like I said, the high speed Internet connection made our gaming session very enjoyable. You can even download movie and play Dota at the same time. Believe it or not, I only started to play Dota when I was in the UK! No doubt playing Dota 2 in our accommodation has created a fond memory...

I'm most familiar with Drow Ranger, a hero in Dota 2 who attack her enemies using ice arrows. 5 of us would go face-to-face against hard or even higher level AI, and even spoke to each other in-game to plan our strategy! Once in a blue moon, I would achieve the highest kill count (but I can't comment on the death count xD)! Housemates would sometimes take over my laptop in the middle of a game and my hero will suddenly become very pro, leaving my teammates dazzled. We also watched Dota 2 grand tournament together, but watching it was not as fun as playing it ourselves!
